This agreement

By creating a Zodivai account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old to have an account.

What Zodivai is, and what it is not

Zodivai calculates astrological charts and writes interpretations of them. Astrology is not science. The readings are provided for entertainment, reflection and self-examination.

Nothing in the service is professional advice. Do not use it in place of a doctor, a therapist, a lawyer, a financial adviser or any other qualified professional, and do not make a medical, legal, financial or safety decision on the strength of a reading. If you are in crisis, contact a local emergency service or crisis line.

Charts are calculated from ephemeris data using the birth details you supply. Wrong details produce a wrong chart, and we cannot verify what you enter.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. Give us accurate registration details and keep them current. One account per person; do not share it.

Subscriptions and payment

Zodivai has a free tier and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the price then in effect, until cancelled.

Where you bought the subscription determines who bills you and who cancels it. A subscription bought on the website is billed by us through Stripe and managed in your account settings. A subscription bought inside the Zodivai app, where available, is billed by Apple or Google under their terms and must be cancelled through that account — we cannot cancel it for you, and cancelling in the app is not the same as cancelling with Apple or Google.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not give partial refunds for an unused part of a period except where the law requires it — and where it does, it applies whatever these terms say. Purchases made through an app store are refunded under that store's policy, not ours.

We may change prices. A change to the price of an existing subscription takes effect at the next renewal and we will tell you before it does, with enough notice to cancel.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• ·Break the law with the service, or use it to harm or harass anyone.
• ·Scrape it, or hit the API in ways designed to degrade it for other people.
• ·Try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours.
• ·Resell, relicense or redistribute the readings and content as your own product.
• ·Upload someone else's birth details without a good-faith basis for having them.

Content and ownership

The service, its software and the readings it generates belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for yourself while your account is in good standing.

What you write stays yours. Journal entries, birth profiles and anything else you enter remain your content; you grant us only the licence needed to store it, process it and show it back to you. We do not publish it and we do not use it to train models.

Affiliate and sponsored links

Some pages link to products or services sold by someone else — crystal recommendations and psychic-reading offers are marked "sponsored". If you buy something after following one of those links, we may earn a commission from the seller at no extra cost to you.

We do not control, and are not responsible for, the product, its price, or the seller's own site. Any purchase you make there is between you and that seller.

Availability

We try to keep the service up and we do not promise it always will be. Features may change or be withdrawn. If we discontinue a paid feature you are actively paying for, we will offer a pro-rata refund of the unused part.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind so far as the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local law gives you, and nothing in these terms takes those away.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time — see the privacy policy for exactly what that does and when.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to. Unless the breach is serious we will give you notice and a chance to put it right. If we close a paid account other than for breach, we refund the unused part of the period.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, delete your account.
